The Picture shows a big 610 carat, light brown colored smoky quartz crystal of fine quality. All crystal terminations are in-tact and good condition. The crystal can be used as faceting rough because almost all of it is clean and mostly homogenous in color.

Clarity of crystal and facet rough:
Ø Good: Majority of crystal is Faceting grade, usually 90% or more clean
Ø Medium: more than 40% of the crystal is clean
Ø Low: Inclusions throughout the crystal, used for cabochons or specimen

Herkimer Diamonds:
These are beautiful high luster, double-terminated quartz crystals. First discovered in Herkimer county in New York and that is why they are also called Herkimer diamonds, especially because of high luster and double terminations. The Herkimer diamonds that we are selling are from Pakistan. The crystals may have black inclusions, probably mineral oil inclusions, which look very pretty in contrast to shiny crystal. Only 50% crystals have such inclusions. The quartz crystals themselves are colorless. The length of the crystals range from 2cm to 0.5cm.
